The Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and NLEX Corporation scored two trophies in the recently concluded 53rd Anvil Awards organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).

The Anvil Awards recognizes public relations programs, campaigns, and tools that meet the highest PR standards.

The MPTC Omnibus AVP – a multimedia PR Tool that communicates the benefits of MPTC’s road projects such as helping decongest traffic and boosting the country’s economy – won a Silver Anvil Award.

NLEX Corporation’s CSR program titled “NLEX-SCTEX Eye Care Project: See Clearly, Drive Safely” also bagged a Silver Anvil for promoting road safety by instilling among drivers the importance of good vision when driving.

MPTC President and CEO Rodrigo E. Franco said, “We are honored that our projects and programs are recognized. These awards validate our efforts and commitment to enable motorists to experience safe and convenient travel.”

To date, NLEX Corporation has 14 Anvil awards including a Grand Anvil in 2006 for its Integrated Communication Program for the New North Luzon Expressway.
